We are actually going on a date tonight with some friends from church. We are going with Darin & Amy Shearer to a dinner theater to have a buffet meal and watch this play afterwards! None of us will have our kids! YEA! Thank goodness for Grandparents who will babysit on a Friday night! I couldn't tell you the last time we did something like this and left our kids at home. I always look so forward to it but for some reason, I am ready to hurry back by the end of the evening to see my kids again!

I do enjoy date nights! We switch off with a couple -- one night they go on a date and we watch their kids and the next time they watch our kids and we go out. It helps that Nathan is Steven's age, Abigail is between Ashlee and Kelcee's age and Jared is 1 and the girls love to "mother him".

Did you have fun Friday night? Jonathan and I don't know what dates are like anymore. I'm not big on being away from my little one, but we are due for some alone dining:)
