Parker loves to play any sport! Jonathan is thrilled that he loves to play ball. We only hope he doesn't blow out his knee someday like his Daddy did! Parker is showing off his new hat, ball and bat from Grandma Sheila in this picture! He and Daddy are big Cincinnati Reds fans. We think Peyton is also following in Parker and Daddy's footsteps. He too loves balls and can spot them a mile away!!! Paige on the other hand is still a little "girlie" and doesn't seems to care one bit about balls or sports!

Remembering Princess...
Mom had my kids yesterday while I worked. Parker looked outside and saw the neighbor man mowing around "Princess' old tree." For those of you who might not know, Princess was a dog that Mom and Dad inherited from my brother. She was getting very old and had some problems and they had to have her put to sleep the week before Christmas! (Nice timing by the way...) Well, Parker loved to go outside and play with Princess when he was at Grandma's house! Parker saw the neighbor man mowing around that tree and wanted to go outside and yell at him! He then proceeded to tell Mom about how much he misses Princess and wants her back! Next, he loudly started praying something like this... "Dear Jesus, please help Princess to feel better and help her to not be dead anymore... Amen!" After fighting back tears, Mom tried explaining about how Princess can't come back, etc! He said, "But I asked Jesus to bring her back!" Try reasoning with a 4 year old that Jesus won't be answering that particular prayer!!!!!!

Kids...you gotta love em'

Jonathan was waiting on me to get home from work tonight so he could finally mow our lawn. We are the only people on our street who haven't mowed yet! Jonathan goes to get on the John Deere and it is "deader than a door nail!" Parker loves to sit on it and pretend to drive and has a terrible habit of leaving the key in the "on" position! Well... poor Parker got blamed for the tractor having a dead battery and our lawn still isn't mowed. (Looks like we need to bush hog!) Parker came inside and told me we were going to have to eat our grass since the tractor wouldn't start!
Happy Birthday Donnie!
Just wanted to say a big Happy Birthday to Jonathan's brother and my Brother-in-law, Donnie! (Since we haven't even gotten his card yet! :) Hope you had a great day, we were thinking of you! Have a great vacation!

Sundays are always hectic!
We actually got to church early today! Yea! I wanted to snap a few pictures of the kids before they got all wrinkled and their hair got messed up but that didn't happen! Today was quite an adventurous day for the Walden kiddos. Parker shut the tips of his fingers in PaPaw's car door after church, Paige shut hers in the bathroom door at Grandma's house and tonight busted her lip on the coffee table and drew blood! The biggest scare of the day happened to Mr Peyton! He nearly choked on a half of a small plastic Easter egg. (I'll spare you all the details, it is too scary to talk about!) I panicked (for real) but was able to finally grab it. He survived and those eggs got thrown in the trash by Grandma! It was a beautiful day and Grandma took the kids outside to enjoy the sunshine on Palm Sunday! Unfortunately, all those things that happened today are not an April Fool's joke!
